Taking place at O—Overgaden over the course of a year, the series of talks investigates how “performance” has come to govern the entire realm of our social bonds. How might this this governance be resisted?

Each talk fluctuates between live performance, casual conversation, and academic content to build an ongoing local conversation on our present and pervasive “performance” condition.

On Thursday 23 March, the event aims to build a bridge between the past, the present, and the future; between what is invisible but finds its form socially and bodily, and what remains hidden, latent, and concealed. Will Holder will be vocally publishing a final draft of Cally Spooner’s PRESENT TENSE, an essay first drafted at O—Overgaden in December, which has since reflected on the moments that an Undetectable generational and societal trauma might become detectable when an individual body handles its environment, and an environment handles individuals, but never exactly holds them.

* Will’s talk may be exceptionally undetectable, though he shall be joined—possibly only—by Rhea Dall, Cally Spooner, and Lola.

The talk will be held in English and is free of charge, as is admission to all of O—Overgaden’s exhibitions.
