Klara Ström (b. 1990, Tanum, SE) is an artist based in Gothenburg. She has an MFA from Konstfack, Stockholm (2018) and a BFA from the Oslo Academy of the Arts (2016). Ström’s practice is text-based, combining her own texts with others in prose, poetry, and song. In the worlds in which her work is based, we meet literary figures, biographical characters, alter egos, and symbolic figures. She uses mythological, religious, historical, and contemporary narratives to build parallel stories to those we already know. Ström’s works have been shown at Malmö Konsthall, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Skånes Konstförening, Galleri Podium, Chart Art Fair, Statens Museum for Kunst, Skissernas Museum, Roskilde Festival, Salts Basel, and Ok Corral, among other venues.

Sóley Ragnarsdóttir (b. 1991, IS/DK) holds an MFA from Städelschule in Frankfurt, Germany, and has exhibited at Städel Museum (Frankfurt), Kunstforum (Darmstadt), and most recently at Jean Claude Maier (Frankfurt). ‘Organizing Principles’ is the culmination of her enrolment in O—Overgaden’s talent program INTRO.
