Benamor and Cerqueira transform the exhibition space into a collaborative space for writing, inviting everyone interested to join a process of readings and writing exercises that offer reflection and contemplation. 

The workshops build on the exhibition. Each Tuesday will begin with readings from texts that have already been “produced” in the context of the exhibition, as inspiration or starting points; these might be a text written by Benamor or maybe a text written in one of the other writers’ workshops that previously took place in the exhibition.

Everyone is welcome and no special prerequisites are required to participate. During these writers’ workshops, you have the option to contribute to a collective text that will be produced by participants. The only thing important is that you want to try immersing yourself into the space and the poetry!

The two writers’ workshops by Zahna Siham Benamor and Sofia Cerqueira take place at O—Overgaden after hours on the following dates: Tuesday 23 April, 6–7.30pm and Tuesday 30 April, 6–7.30pm
